The Exhibition Itself, teamVOID, 2022
Inspired by systemic aspects of the museum, the work is designed to exist as an exhibition in its own right. Identifying the space, artwork, and viewer as the basal conditions for an exhibition, the group created a work that incorporates its own artificial viewer. An endless loop unfolds, in which the image captured by the camera is presented on the display, the work questions the meaning of exhibition as it reenacts the interaction between an artwork and a viewer within itself.
